Rationale TAC is associated with a relatively high incidence of febrile neutropenia when given without prophylactic hematopoetic growth factor support. This study compared two compounds for the reduction of febrile neutropenia when given as prophylaxis.

G-CSF (Neupogen) 5 mg/kg once daily

SC-70935 10 mg/kg every other day

SC-70935 5 mg/kg once daily
