Data coordinator

CIRG is a cooperative group in clinical oncology research group focused in breast cancer treatment.  CIRG is seeking for a full-time Data Coordinator  position based in Edmonton.

Key Responsibilities
Ø       Test clinical database before it is put in production
Ø Help maintain database documentation
Ø        Ensure tracking of all incoming Case Report Forms (CRFs), Information Request Forms (IRFs) and Validation Tools
Ø   Ensure CRF header corrections and generates reports for on site filing of resolutions applied in house
Ø   Organize CRFs flow process (including Data Entry priorities)
Ø   Process Validation Tools (Validation Tools and IRFs)
Ø   Perform clinical database updates
Ø       Generate Data Entry Activity and other reports
Ø   Contribute to the generation of the Data Management Documentation and filing (Data Management Plan, Data Management Reports, Study Specific Guidelines and Instructions Manuals, Data Management file)
Ø   Other tasks as required:
     Ø Assist the Data Manager with data cleaning activities, including the provision of cleaning tools to data entry staff for processing; organize team workload and distribution as required.  
Required Qualifications
Ø       Bachelor's degree (preferably in a health related field) or extensive experience in a health related field
Ø   Computer programming training would be an asset
    
Experience

·        Good computer skills

·      Very good knowledge of all Data Management tasks including data entry and data validation processes

·      Ability to synthesize information and use intuition and experience to solve problems

·      Demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness

·      Good written and verbal communication skills
